Investment HR is committed to fostering a corporate culture that believes in work life balance and making an impact on the community. The entire team enjoyed planning and organizing a breakfast for residents of the Aurora Ronald McDonald House.
The Ronald McDonald House main focus is providing comfortable, low-cost housing to out-of-town mothers and fathers needing to be near their hospitalized children. Helping a sick child fight their illness takes a big enough emotional toll on a family. Adding a financial strain can make it all almost too much to bear. The House can help address those problems, whether they involve housing that’s near a hospitalized child, the expense of staying together in another city, or even getting basic medical and dental care in a vulnerable community.
The Investment HR staff made a delicious breakfast including French toast, sausage, fruit salad and breakfast tacos for guests at the local house in Aurora, CO. Lucia stated, “I enjoy working with my coworkers on such a special project and making a difference in our community. It is nice to see how thankful people are due to our efforts.”
Naturally, people want to engage, and your company’s effort that makes a difference in the community can impact your team as well.
